Trimble SPS986 GNSS Smart Antenna
The SPS986 GNSS Smart Antenna is a compact and durable solution for Field Layout. It can serve as a base station or GNSS rover system. This GNSS smart antenna offers improved accuracy and performance compared to a standard antenna through multipath rejection, Wi-Fi capabilities, signal processing algorithms, interference handling, and more. Using the Trimble SPS986 GNSS Smart Antenna and Trimble Field Link Positioning Software it is now possible to capture accurate points while standing, walking, or driving the site in a vehicle, while the receiver is not level.
Full GNSS tilt compensation makes Field Link easier to learn for beginners and saves significant time for more experienced field engineers. Tilt compensation in vehicle mode is designed to capture higher accuracy measurements on steeper slopes from a moving vehicle, and more accurate volume measurements to save time and money on material planning.
